SADEV: supplier of transmissions for the FIA WEC Endurance Championship

The FIA World Endurance Championship sees Hypercars and LMGT3s compete in thrilling races across the globe, bringing together a total of 37 cars.
Teams of 3 drivers compete in events ranging from 6 hours to the ultimate 24-hour endurance event, all at astonishing speeds in excess of 350km/h.

In 2024, SADEV is equipping the Hypercar category with TEAM PEUGEOT TOTALENERGIES.

This year, the category features 19 cars, 57 drivers and 13 manufacturers.

WEC transmissions: co-designed by SADEV & PEUGEOT

In 2022, French carmaker PEUGEOT called on SADEV's French expertise to co-design the 7-speed sequential gearbox and electric reducer for its Hypercar, meeting the requirements of the LMH Hypercar category.

This project was a real challenge for our teams. The expertise and creativity of our engineers, combined with our collective experience, enabled us to create a transmission optimized down to the smallest detail.

The realization of this project was an opportunity for our teams to push their limits once again!

The 24 Hours of Le Mans in a nutshell

Since 1923, the 24 Hours of Le Mans has become a legendary meeting place for Motorsport enthusiasts and manufacturers looking for Innovation.

With a track length of 13.626 km, the Sarthe circuit is one of the longest in the world. 

It is one of the three most prestigious races, alongside the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500 miles.
